About

Who writes this,
and why

Dadzilla is a 52-week strength, conditioning and recovery system built for dads aged 35–55 — programmed around kids, jobs, and 5 a.m. starts rather than around an athlete's schedule. It is made by Dadzilla Fit LLC.

Built to lift. Built to last.

Why it exists

A dad who watched his own father's health take him at 60 — and promised his kids a different story. Eight years of training, half marathons, triathlons, and every fitness app on the market later, the gap was obvious: nobody was programming around a dad's actual life.

So he did. That's the whole origin. No lab, no certification wall, no team of sports scientists — one father who got tired of programs written for people without a school run.

The six pillars

Everything published here — training, blog posts, monthly challenges — sits under one of six pillars.

Before the House Wakes

Training in the hours before the day asks anything of you — the systems, and the minimal kit, that make it repeatable.

Over-40 Mechanics

Joints, tendons, mobility, and the parts of the body that change their timeline after 40.

Science Drops

One published finding, the mechanism behind it, and what to actually do about it this week.

Dad Fuel

Eating for energy and recovery inside real family logistics — not meal-prep theatre.

Role Model Reps

Discipline, consistency, and what your kids are actually watching you do.

Dadzilla Challenges

Monthly challenges, the 52-week Dadzilla Fit Training program, Longevity and Flexibility participation where it fits, polls, Q&As, progress check-ins, and community accountability.

How the writing works

Most posts follow the same shape: one finding, one mechanism, one action. A published result, a plain-English explanation of why it works, and a single thing to change this week. Where a study is described, it is described as what it is — a study on a specific population, not a promise about you.

Posts are written and published under the Dadzilla name rather than an individual byline. The company behind them is Dadzilla Fit LLC, and questions go to a human at [email protected].

What we don't do

We currently don't use affiliate links or sponsored gear recommendations. Right now, gear recommendations link straight to the retailer with no tracking tag and no commission. If that changes — an affiliate link, a brand partnership, anything commercial — it gets disclosed clearly on the page, before you click anything.

No fake reviews, no invented member counts, no claiming a feature ships before it does.

How the app works

Three training experiences are live: Dadzilla Training, Project Longevity and Dadzilla Flexibility. Dadzilla Training is the 52-week core — six phases, run in order. Project Longevity extends the healthspan work. Flexibility is the four-week Power Yoga, mobility and joint-durability protocol: run it on its own or stack it alongside the rest. It is not a phase of the 52 weeks.

All three run at dadzillafit.co in any browser — there is nothing to download and nothing in an app store. Save the page to your home screen and it opens like a native app, offline included.

They are built as on-device apps. There is no account, no login, and no server holding your training. Every set you log stays in the browser on the device you logged it on, which is why moving to a new phone means exporting a backup from Settings and restoring it there — we cannot do it for you, because we do not have it.

Access is by code rather than by account, and each program has its own. Codes go to beta members; the Project Longevity and Dadzilla Flexibility codes are free — follow Dadzilla on social and DM us for them. Lost yours? Email [email protected].

The blog and the monthly challenges are open to everyone, free, no code required.
